I have decided that I have mixed feelings about summer. I despise the heat and humidity that is a Virginia summer but I do LOVE summer vacations!!! This year we had our first Brown (and I mean the WHOLE clan) family vacation to Hilton Head, SC. Mark and I went there a few years ago and we absolutely love that place! They have so many awesome restaurants and it is quiet and not too commericalized. My favorite part of family vacations are the bonding time with one another. This year the kids were really able to spend quality time together and enjoy each other's company. Bradley would get up every morning and walk out of our bedroom down the hall to Adam & April's room looking for Bubba. Mark even fell asleep one night on the pull out sofa with Matthew and Maya. They were soooo cute together! On friday night, Mark and I went on a sunset dinner cruise with Adam & April. It was a wonderful time! We thought that we were gonna get a thunderstorm but thankfully it blew over and we had a wonderful evening of primerib, dolphin watching, and good conversation. I have to say that my favorite night was wednesday night when we were all together. Mark and Maya were making their treats of brownies a la mode and we played a Wii game called "Just Dance." First the boys got their groove on and then imagine this 3 pregnant women dancing and swerving to Katy Perry. It was a lot of fun, I laughed so hard that my side was hurting!! I know I say it all the time but I am so very thankful to have married into such a loving, amazing family. I love being a Brown girl!! Now we are looking forward to next year's vacation! It will be a bit crazier with 3 new additions but we are looking forward to it!!!
